Glidair Project

Update 22 March 2006: Just the Basics

The Glidair is a single-seat touring motorglider that Brad Hill has been working on for the past few years. Brad and I (mostly Brad) are developing a version of the Glidair that uses the wings and also vertical and horizontal tail of the HP-24. We're thinking that the engine will be something on the order of a Rotax 503 through 582, or perhaps a 2SI, CRM, or Hirth equivalent.
